Formation process
As with all of MUTREA's works, every image in the LightSense Collection begins with music.
For every work, a musical foundation is first created, which determines the rhythm and dynamics of the later work.
During this process, Marcel Munz translates the sound directly into structure.
Pigments, plaster, and movement are created in time with the music.
Strokes, impulses, and rhythmic gestures shape the surface of the work.
In this way, music becomes not only audible but also visible.
The works in the LightSense Collection retain this artistic origin – but are deliberately designed to be lighter, slimmer and more versatile.
